Isi's Goldener Engel in Garmisch-Partenkirchen

We were asked by the restaurant owner to sit next to many other eaters even though there were 3-4 obviously empty tables on the other end. The goalkeeper rudely declined our suggestion to sit in the less crowded area and didn't give a reason. It's so ridiculous that guests should sit so close together in the pandemic! Bad impression!

Very quaint and cozy. The service was very nice and we enjoyed the food (Käsespätzle) very, very good! The portions were big! Definitely to be recommended! Strangely, on Sunday evenings we were almost the only ones in the restaurant.

We always drive from Munich to Isi's Goldener Engel. The very best Courdonbleu ❤ can be found here Very large portions and you really get something for your money here. The host and the cook are super nice, we always like to come back to you Thank you!

Apricot again ... I'm very happy ... a few more days and can I eat delicious Munich schnitzel again ... maybe I will learn more about apricot? I will always remember Isi's Golden Angel and I look forward to seeing you again soon.

We are here often and with great pleasure! The food is great and the portions large. Here you get really something for your money! The host is always friendly and the atmosphere is great. You just feel good here. The tables and menus are cleaned and disinfected after each guest. Even when it's busy and you sometimes have to wait a bit, you can always tell that everyone here is doing their best and doing everything to please the guests! Here is still freshly cooked and you can taste it!

The food was delicious the service was friendly but the food took about 50 minutes, so the star deduction for our visit.

Perfect place. Authentic German cuisine. Delicious. Acceptable prices. Friendly staff. The menu is in English. Beer - 3.8 euro, pork knuckle - 14 euro. Dogs friendly (for whom this is important).

After a very enthusiastic welcome but still very nice u. been served quickly. Unfortunately, the hoped for rustic u. Bavarian atmosphere not really on (but unfortunately also at the Burgerladen next to it). The P / L ratio is quite good and the portions are ok. Roulade, knuckle and Wiener Schnitzel have tasted. No absolute must, if one is in GAP, but also no misstep.

Wonderful German restaurant devious food and cozy atmosphere. My sister had the Spinach dumpling spaghetti and my mom and other sister shared the Deer goulash with red cabbage. I had the unbelievably yummy Kasespatzel German version of Mac and Cheese!! Love the roasted fried onions on top.

Amazing Eisschocko, totally recommended. Great idea using pasta as non-plastic straws. Very interesting facade. Cash only unfortunately, but there's an ATM nearby.

This is a really cozy place that serves traditional bayern food. They actually got my order wrong but it was still ok. The staff is friendly, and the place is not crowded. You don't need a reservation here.

There's no better place to get great German food than at this restaurant. The dishes were delicious, the service was outstanding, and the restaurant had a very cozy and homey feel to it. For anybody traveling through the beautiful town of Garmisch, this place is a must.
